Why does one of my contacts not receive my text messages?

why does one of my contacts not receive my text messages?

Hi there, I have recently changed to a Samsung Galaxy s6. I have a friend who has the s4 and every time i text her she does not receive my texts. I do receive her text messages fine it' s just when i send a message she doesn't receive it. I am able to call her fine.

Can someone suggest something we should do? How do we know if it's my phone or is it her phone?

I was having the same problem between my wife and my phone, but then it suddenly went away. My cousin had the same issue texting me and eventually got Textra which fixed it for him. When he texted me, the bubbles would be green instead of the normal orange. Not sure what caused the issue though.
