People Edge only accesses Google contacts
I've had a Galaxy S6 Edge for a while now and one thing that's been a bother is the people edge. Up until now, it seemed to randomly purge names from the list with no rhyme or reason that I could figure out.
Now, it won't allow me to select from any contacts except those which are in my Google account. I've been using contacts from Exchange Active Sync since receiving the phone but something has changed and I can only presume that it was with the 5.1 update. I had a couple of other issues and figured it was time to do a factory restore so it's currently clean, no apps beyond what it ships with.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a solution?
Update: I did a chat with Samsung and was informed that this was a change made in the update.

rep: I have checked the resources and see that after the update the option for Exchange Active Sync contacts to use on the People Edge has been removed.
rep: I would like to inform you that we are constantly improving and updating our operating systems, and with every improvement there is always a chance an older feature may be changed or removed.
