Battery on S4 Mini drains extremely quickly

When I first got the phone, it could probably last two or three days on standby mode, and at least six hours when in constant use. After a few months, however, I noticed that it's battery life was noticeably shorter, and some time after that could barely last a night on standby mode, and two or three hours on constant use.
I only turn on data or wifi when I need it, and my brightness is nearly always on the lower end. Location and GPS are also off, as well as Bluetooth, but nothing has changed.

Battery life will slowly dissipate over time. However, it shouldn't have problems a few months into owning the device. I would suggest a factory reset (backup data and sync accounts first) and see if that helps. Worst case scenario is that you can buy a replacement battery, which doesn't costs very and it's nice to have a backup on hand for those long days.
