Android Central Question

Lately when I've been using the front facing camera, I notice that while everything seems fine when taking the picture, once I check the gallery, the actual picture is zoomed in closer. This started happening when I turned on the motion photo feature. When I play the motion photo, it shows me the original unzoomed photo. So for now I've been taking screen shots of those just so I can have the photo.

Any known fixes for this yet? I haven't had any luck finding others who have had this problem.

Why does the front facing camera take zoomed photos? Samsung Galaxy S9+

Sorry everyone, I can't figure out how to edit my previous post. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9+, just the generic camera app it came with, and the generic Gallery app to view the photos.

Haven't really come across this before. Make sure the ratio hasn't been changed from 3:4 to 9:16
