Android Central Question

I have a Motorola Droid Turbo 2, I recently factory reset my phone due to some issues I was having, and chose not to backup so I would have a fresh start. After I got back all of my most used apps, I noticed that multiple times a day, if I lock the screen manually, the next time I unlock the phone I have more than one copy of Netflix on my home screen. At first, I just thought my pocket or my son where the cause of this but I've now seen it happen, I hit the lock screen button and unlock the phone 30 seconds later and another copy of Netflix pops up, it's the only app that does this. I tried clearing the cache in the Netflix app and it immediately made a new copy as soon as I return to the home screen. I deleted and reinstalled the app and it still persists, anyone have any ideas?

I too have a Droid turbo 2 and recently received a new one after a warranty replacement. When I install the Netflix app after a few minutes it duplicated itself on my home screen. It usually happens when I come out of another app or when I unlock the phone. I have no idea why it does this so I just keep deleting the duplicated app. Netflix still seems to be working properly. Perhaps some feedback to Netflix or Motorola is in order

You should both notify Netflix at playstore@netflix.com, giving them the full info (including that it's a Droid Turbo 2). If they get enough complaints, they'll get a Turbo 2, see it happen, and figure out why (and fix it).
