why does the status bar disappear on my Samsung galaxy tab 4 android version 5

I installed an update and now the status bar is missing om the Web browser. It shows up on all others, it is missing from the Web browser. It was there before the update, because I use it as my clock since there is not one in the room. Now I have no idea what time it is. I have been searching this for 4 hours, I give up. This update was a big mistake I should have ignored it.

Welcome to Android Central! Which size Tab4 is it? I moved this thread to the Tab4 7.0 forum for now.

Was this a system update? Are you sure it was an official update? I would guess that tablet hasn't had an official system update from Samsung for some time now.
