Why Doesn't Galaxy Tab 2 7" recognize any micro SD card?

I just purchased two 8Gb and one 16Gb Micro Sd cards from local store, all SanDisk. Devices: Galaxy Tab 2 18 months old Galaxy S2 29 months old, Irulu P1 7" tablet. I have owned all since new. Irulu and S2 both loaded no glitches. The Tab 2 will not recognize any of the micro SDs even the ones loaded onto the other devices.

I loaded a sd card tester from Play Store (developer Gilmar J Parin) and it does a a clean read-write test so the tablet will see the cad from tester but will not mount or activate it.

Going to App> Storage> SD card the "mount sd card" is in grey text and will not enable action.

any advice please

The Galaxy devices are finicky about the cards they will treat with. Your best bet is to get a Samsung uSD card. If that doesn't work, then contact Samsung.

Thank you for reply DSone not the best news to hear but it makes sense. sorta like Ford's star wrenches when a hex wrench set up would have served just as well
