Why doesn't my facebook photo display in text messages?

I have everything sync'd but can't find any information for this online. When I go to the contacts app it doesn't show a picture for me but it shows everyone elses.

You need to add a contact photo for yourself. The Contacts app is picking up photos for your Facebook Friends, so if you are not a friend of yourself on Facebook then it won't assign the photo. I know, it sounds weird, but this is likely the problem.

Simply open the Contacts app and edit the image to assign one of your choosing.

Well here's the thing... I had it working before and I just did a factory reset. I've had this issue a few times and can't remember how to fix it. I think it pulls it from google for myself automatically. I've never had to add a pic directly myself.
