Why doesn't my ICS like me?

I updated when it was available and I thought I was happy, then the honeymoon was over the next day.

My gyro, or whatever internal sensor doesn't work. It refuses to transition from portrait to landscape.

I have uninstalled my launcher and enable the bloatware that came with it. I've tried apex, GO and ADW, but the issue keeps popping up. After three defaults, it works for a day and adios.... no more gyro thingy.

That's a deal breaker. I understand the other idiosyncrasies that Acer and ICS have given us and so far I can deal with those. But this? Nope.

Have any of you experienced this?

Time to research a new tab..... any suggestions on a product that works?
.....I hear apple has a tablet....

Do you have a task killer installed? Removing that solved the rotation problem for me.

Dumb Question, but you didn't hit the rotation switch by accident??? It's small and touchy on my tablet.

I checked the lock switch, both positions- no dice.

I do use ATK, but even after the last default (last night), the device wont rotate. Thats odd, normally I can go about a day before it stops. Now it wont rotate from the get go.

I guess I'm doomed to live an eternity in landscape mode.

Thanks for all the input, by the way.

I'll give it another default and see what happens.
