Why does'nt my LG Leon smart phone connect with the secured XFINITY WIFI hotspot network?

Error message is Authentication problem. Phone will connect with the regular unsecured xfininity wifi network, but not the SECURED XFINITY using the xfinity app.

Phone is currently using android version 5.1.1

Delete the connection boot your device and set it up again.

I have already rebooted the phone.

Have you downloaded the security profile? XFINITY® WiFi by Comcast | Wireless Internet on the Go
If that doesn't work I would contact their customer services

I installed & registered the security app on both my ipad & smartphone.

It only works with ipad, but not smartphone.

Comcast claims there is a nation wide outage for android users?
