Whenever my son or my best friend send longer texts, I never receive them. They both have iphones. I have an HTC M9 and T-Mobile as my carrier.

Does this only happen when texts are longer than 160 characters, or does it happen with all texts?
Are they sending the texts as SMS or as iMessages? If they send as iMessages, you'll never get them.
Do they have T-Mobile also?
Some carriers break up long texts into multiples. Other carriers send long texts as MMS instead of SMS.
