Why doesn't my mobile data work

i recently got a droid turbo 2 and when i try to use Instagram and some web sights, the data doesn't work. when I connect to WIFI it works fine.

Hi and welcome to AndroidCentral.

Do you have Verizon as your carrier? If so, how is your coverage? Have you contacted Verizon for additional help?

If you do not have Verizon, which carrier do you have? You will need to manually edit your data APN to use data on your device with a carrier other than Verizon.

Yes i have Verizon. I have 4 bars of LTE. i got the phone 2 days ago and was hoping it would resolve its self. I haven't contacted Verizon yet

I would suggest contacting Verizon in that case. That's not normal. Data should work out of the box in that case.

with Instagram, it will update and show that someone posted something but the image wont load and endlessly tells me to retry. Also for some reason spotify works but that is about it
