my phone doesn't connect to my computer?

when i connect my phone with USB cable with computer it just charging from computer and i cannot see anything of mobile in computer and nor i can transfer something from computer to mobile and from mobile to computer and my mobile doesn't has the developer option in setting to cheek the USB option.

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

It may be a one way cable, or you could try another usb port.

Also if you plug the cable and device into a usb port, you should get a notification and usb icon on the notification shade saying connected as an MTP or PTP device. You would want Media Transfer Protocol rather than Photo Transfer Protocol.

If you have a secure Lock Screen it won't be read until you change security to swipe, or none.

You may need windows drivers for your device. If it's a Samsung you can download Samsung Kies for Windows / Mac.

You can enable USB debugging mode in Developer options, but I don't think that's necessary. You can get developer options by tapping the Build number in About Device 7 times.

Swap your cables around if u can or wait for the battery to run flat and try again if these simple steps don't work then you really have problem and you should take it to a professionals.
