why doesnt my samsung galaxy s 6 edge have "advance call" option under settings?

I have the s galaxy s6 edge and I am trying to activate the video calling. Every time I try to use it it says network error has occurred. then when I tried to follow directions I found on youtube : activating the video calling option under "advance call" options I have found I don't have "advanced call" options on my phone? can anyone help me with this?? why would the option not be there? do you know how to fix the issue? how do I get my advance call options?

I believe that video calling is carrier dependent. What carrier do you have?

i have straight talk
so if it it carrier dependent does that mean i wont ever receive the update to my phone for "advanced calling" options since i have straight talk?

it is not a Samsung galaxy s6 edge from straight talk , i purchased it and the activated with straight talk ?

not, this is samsung galaxy s6. I can not see my partner during the call because disappear* icon of the video

My carrier is tmobile and I have the galaxy s6 edge too but I don't have that advance call opinion. Can someone help me with this ?
