Why doesn't my Samsung Gear App with Gear 2 Neo work properly?

Samsung Gear App with Gear 2 Neo doesn't work properly

I just got a Gear 2 which is connected to bluetooth and sending notifications from my phone just fine. The problem is with the gear manager app. I get the usual menu items such as home screen styler, s health, notifications, etc. When I click on one of the menu items, the screen that matches pops up for about a second and then fades to white. It won't stay connected to that menu screen. I have tried reinstalling with no luck. What can I do? I really would like to customize my Gear 2, or else what's the point? Thanks!

Are you talking about trying to customize your watch strictly from the phone? Once you install apps you can do a lot of customization directly on the watch itself.

In your subject line you wrote Gear 2 Neo, then in your post you wrote Gear 2. Those are two different phones. Which one do you have? I have the Neo and only apps that have a setting can I opens, so I'm guessing you just mean the Gear 2.

I am having the same problem with my Gear 2 Neo. I get the usual menu items in Gear Manager but when I click on one of the menu items, the menu pops up briefly and disappears. Needless to say this makes Gear Manager useless. I have done all the usual things, uninstall, reinstall, etc. to no avail.
