Why doesn't my touch screen work anymore?

Why Do sent my touch screen work any more

my phone is a Samsung galaxy A5. last night it was working perfectly fine but when i went to use it this morning it wont let me swipe to unlock it

Hi, have you tried hard resetting the device to see if that works?

yh i've tried that didn't work. The two touch buttons at the bottom the back button and the one you use to close apps they both work its just the screen thats not working

It sounds like the screen is damaged somehow. Have you got it wet or dropped it recently?

no it was on my desk when i went to bed when i woke up i went to use it and i couldn't unlock it as the touch screen wasn't working thers no way it could have gotten wet

strange. There isn't much more assistance we can give, as it definitely sounds like a hardware issue. Speak to the place you bought the phone from, they might be able to assist. Or speak to the manufacturer to see if the device is still under warranty, they might fix it for you free of charge.
