Why doesn't the camera rotate when I hold it upright?

I restored my infuse a couple of times.. Yet when I turn the camera upright it stays in landscape mode, what can I do to change it? It's somewhat irritating, running android 2.2,maby an update?

do you have screen rotation disabled? thats my first guess..

I don't ever remember mine being in portrait mode.
