Why doesn't the edge plus recognise the quick charger?

When I charge the s6 edge plus with the original charger. I have to plug it in several times before it will say speed charging. 9 out of 10 times it says charging by cable. Do I have to turn on a setting or am I doing something wrong?

I don't think its's your mobiles fault, something might be wrong with the socket where you are inserting the charger.

Try a different cable. I've seen a bad cable cause this problem.

I have it on all sockets, I will buy a new original kabel and try that.
