Why don`t my backspace work after update?

I uppdated my samsung S5mini 01.05.16. Now I cant`t use the backspace butten at all. I have to turn off or re-start my phone. What happend during the oppdate? What can I do to make i worke again?

Welcome to the forums. You can try a different keyboard from Play. As for making the stock app work...You can try clearing the cache for it. Go to Settings>apps>swipe over to all apps>scroll down to your Keyboard (might be under Samsung), and click on it. Click clear cache.

Welcome to Android Central! And just to be clear--are you talking about the Backspace key on your keyboard, or the Back button next to the Home button at the bottom of your phone?

Samsung needs to fix that backspace key on S10. wipes out too many characters too quickly. that is nuts. Samsung, please fix this in next update. You are making me type too much over.
