Why don't I get displays on my screen?

it wont display the screen

my phone is on but the screen is blank

Screen failure perhaps, or the failure of some internal component.

yeah, belodion is right. usually, the screen was damaged.
if not, the issue may caused by flex cable or IC inside.

First, you should check with a other screen to find whether the screen is defective or not.
If it is damaged, you can just replace the screen yourself，or you'd better turn to your local repair shop to fix the IC issue.
