Why don't I have audio on my Bluetooth speaker?

no audio on bluetooth speaker

My S4 will pair fine with speaker and I can pause the music player with controls on the speaker. I can hear phone calls on speaker but I get no audio from music on speaker. The phone shows the music is playing. As soon as I unpair the speaker I get music audio from phone. Was working fine till yesterday. I have another S4 phone and its fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Have you checked to see if your BT media volume (in your phone) is not turned down or muted? Does it happen with any app or a specific one? In theory, any sounds that come out of your phone should play through the speaker, even notifications...
