Why don't I have audio over my car stereo when the phone rings through Bluetooth?

no audio comes in over my car stereo when the phone rings through blue tooth

my phone is paired with my Bluetooth in my car, lately when my phone rings I cant hear it coming through the speakers it only displays the phone number on the radio, I have to pick up my phone to answer it it never did this before I tried re booting my phone an repairing my phone to the blue tooth but it still doesn't work my phone is a galaxy note 3

Welcome to Android Central! While the phone is connected to the car via Bluetooth, go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap your car's entry, and make sure Phone Audio is checked on.
