Why don't I have the stock notifications and ringtones after factory reset?

I did a factory reset of my lg l423dl - Android 8.1.0 and now I have no notification or ringtone sounds to choose from. I restored my phone from a backup and most everything was restored. The stock sounds that should come with the phone or android version are gone and I don't know how to get them back. My only choice is "silent" and vibrate.

Yes, I've gone into the apps and set the settings and turned off do not disturb and all that. It's not a matter of me not having notifications turned on, It's a matter of, I don't have any notification sounds to pick. Please help!

Welcome to Android Central! If you restored the phone, you might have also reinstalled some 3rd party file manager that has become the default sound picker, and those don't always work right. Go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Reset All App Preferences, and then try selecting a new ringtone again. Does it ask you to select an app to complete the action? If so, make sure to pick the stock sound picker.

Thankyou, unfortunately this did not work. Anything else I should try before Mustangs suggestion? I feel like there should be an LG or Android file with stock ringtones I should be able to download, but can't seem to find a source for it.
The phone seems to be looking to an empty location for the notification sounds.

Specifically,
In "App Info" I do not have an app that points towards the phone or notifications.

When I go into sounds and notifications it says "silent". When I hit the + to add something it goes to an empty music menu.
Ringtone says "unknown ringtone" and also has an empty file that says "no music". In both I can hit the radio button and it gives me a choice of songs or artists, but both of these menus are empty as well. So my suspicion is that it's looking to the wrong folder, or the folder should have stock files in it but is empty. To your question " Does it ask if you select an app to complete the action" I don't have that option.

On the last screenshot, what do you see if you tap the 3-dot menu button all the way to the right of "Select file"?

Ringtone has "songs or artists" but both those menus are empty. There are no other sub menus or additional choices.
Notification tab does not have 3 dots.

Sorry, I'm not quite following you. I'm referring to the last screenshot of your previous post, the one that says "Select File." On the top right of the screen, right next to the search icon, there's a 3-dot menu button. What do you see when you tap that?

All results were identical in safe mode.
I'm considering the factory reset again and see what I have before I pull my backup from my google account.
