Why don't I have voice for GPS when driving?

no voice for gps when driving

I have a droid motorola phone that's connected to my car's bluetooth. Though it worked for years, today I couldn't get the gps function to talk to me. Had to look at the map to get where I was going. Any ideas on what happened?

Check the settings on the phone to make sure the mute wasn't toggled on the app.

Also try unpairing your device from your car and repairing it. Sometimes a connection just needs to be re established from scratch to pull it out of its funk.

Make sure that when you unlit it that you delete the vehicles profile off of your phone so that it's a real new connection.
