Why don't my MP 4 videos play after being downloaded from my Galaxy Note 3?

MP 4 Videos won't play after download from Galaxy Note 3

I have a Galaxy Note 3. I take little 5 minute siunrise/sunset videos since I got it 10 months ago. I have played and edited them in the past after I have downloaded them to my computer. Now, my new ones are not playing in my computer Windows MP04 player. The thumbnail of the file in the folder is a colorful and curvy film strip. It is not an image from the video. When it plays in the player only about 10 seconds of sound can be heard but no video. In the Window player field, it show a file thumbnail with a Yellow Expanation mark in the center of it. What is wrong. Is it my player?? or is it my phone? ME??? or all. oh...I havent deleted the videos from my phone and they all still play on my phone. Thanks folks. Have a Picture Perfect Day. It sounds like you might have an issue with Windows Media Player codecs not taking the MP4 files anymore. Don't know why this would happen if you could play them before, though... Since your videos play in your phone, you know the file is not damaged. Have you tried a different player, like QuickTime or VLC?
