Why gallery shows pictures but not when connected in PC

I have 1590 photos showing in gallery from Oneplus One but when connected via usb to PC to backup those photos and videos it shows nothing,an empty DCIM->Camera folder

Are you using the Google Photos app, or some other gallery app? The Google Photos app is probably showing you all of your cloud photos. Do you know for sure if you have any photo files saved locally on the phone?
