Why has a portion of my touch screen stopped working?

[help] touch screen not working properly

Sorry for the all caps in the title. I just really need some help. The top portion of my screen on the LG G3 (Sprint LS990) won't work; just by the notification bar. I can't pull the notifications bar down in the portrait mode but I can in landscape mode. Also, when I turn on show touch points in the developer options, the phone shows no input when I tap on or drag to the top portion of the screen. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks

Same problem here!!!!! Exact same one! This happened over night and I can't figure out what to do! Please help
