Why has my LG G3 begun to lag?

lg g3 issues

two issues i am having is one lagging as of last week or so. screen wont waken or unlock. also having issues with phone heating up.. 101 is the highest it has got according to my avg app. i am running stock and have no live wallpaper or widgets.

Have you tried disabling all the bloatware then performing a restart?

The two symptoms make me think you have some app or process that's using up a lot of cpu cycles. Have you rebooted the device lately?

If you look at the battery stats page, in settings, what app(s) does it show using the most battery?

Mine does the same thing. I'm on Verizon. It seems to get really warm when I'm driving around for work and moving between towers. But something is burning through my battery also. My top 3: Play services, screen, Cerberus (10%). When the phone is warm the screen won't respond. It is driving me crazy but I can't send it in because I need a phone.

Same started happening to me last week. Only I'll start getting a "cloud" effect before it freezes. At times it locks up and won't even let me restart.
