Why has my phone gotten stuck on spinning balls when trying to update my Nexus 7 ota to Lollipop?

Spinning balls trying to update nexus 7 ota to lollipop

Hi
My lollipop update finally came through yesterday on both my nexus 5 and 7. Everything was fine on my phone but my tablet was half way through installing, had restarted and now has got stuck for the last 24 hrs on the spinning balls. If I power down it restarts the same. It stained of power last night but when I recharged it it is still the spinning balls. Grateful for any help oh android community!!!!

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a 2012 or 2013 N7?

Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, if possible: http://forums.androidcentral.com/go...e-nexus-7-2012-2013-cache-partition-wipe.html

Thanks so much for getting back to me with your advice
I went through all the steps and for a second I thought it had worked..... Then those infernal spinning balls returned...... Don't suppose you have any other ideas????

Mi nexus 5 was in the hanging balls and follow your instructions = but got stuck in the
wiping cache / formating cache
any suggestions?
