Why has my Play store stopped working?

My Play store is not working.

I am using lenovo S660. My playstore is not working. While clicking the playstore app a white blank screen is showing. Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Was it working before? Or did you just install it and it has never worked?

Go to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

I think a factory reset would be premature at this time. There are other things to try first.
