Why has Skype installed a no program Icon?

Skype installed no program Icon

Installed Skype on Galaxy S6 active. No application icon in applications to activate program. Is there a fix?

No icon in the app drawer? Uninstall it, restart the phone and install it again.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you install it from Google Play Store, or from some other source?

I have the same issue on my S6 Edge phone. I installed Skype from google play store. I tried uninstalling and re-installing. I tried restarting phone. No way to get the Skype program icon to appear.

Can you open Skype from the Play Store?

Go to the Microsoft Apps folder on the page of icons. The Skype is hidden in this folder.
You can bring it out of that folder to be seen on the screen,

I have the same problem but I don't have Microsoft folder
