Android Central Question

I did a factory reset last August -- which managed to fix my lock screen & clean out my device storage of unwanted junk -- but it DIDN'T fix these issues: moving apps to the SD card eventually freezing up the phone, or my phone not turning back on after videos freeze unexpectedly.
Moving apps to my SD causes my phone to freeze up eventually, so I either have to remove the SD card or the battery & then reinsert; also, most of my installed apps have appeared twice (happens A LOT) or even 3-4 times (which I can remember happened once)
.I tried either streaming on Hulu or watching offline downloads form Google Play Movies & TV, but my videos still froze after several seconds, causing ALL other video apps (especially Netflix & YouTube) to glitch: remained on loading screens after opening, errors appear, causing me to force-close the apps; & if I turned off my screen, it would not turn on. I had to remove my phone case, open the back, remove & reinsert the battery (which I STILL do), then I was able to reboot my phone. But when I play videos on Netflix or YouTube, I barely ever had these issues.
I try running complete scans daily with my antivirus apps (removed all Avast apps, Super Cleaner & CCleaner, but still have Malwarebytes), but "there were no threats found."
My smartphone is an LG Stylo 2 V, running Android 7.0/Nougat, which I had since October 2017 (but is actually my 2nd smartphone). I check for updates, but all I get is "software is up to date, no update is necessary at this time."
If there were never any threats to my device (viruses, malware, phishing, etc), what caused this glitch & why is it still occurring?
I have tried everything mentioned in the answers to my questions on Yahoo Answers, but nothing really helped there. So I've decided to try Android Central for the very first time.

If the factory reset DIDN'T resolve the problems, would ANYTHING be able to? If NOTHING works, I don't know what else I can do, so please help!

Never liked the antivirus apps or app cleaner, but you might have a problem with your SD card , try taking it out and see how everything goes.
