Why I am not able to delete an sms when the date is set to future in Samsung Galaxy M30 phone

I have set my Samsung Galaxy m30 phone's date to a future date for a game. I have received several SMS messages during that particular future date. These future date messages I don't require anymore therefore, I wanted to delete those. But the system is not allowing me to delete. Please resolve this issue.

I tried changing the date to present date and deleting, it didn't work.

Welcome to Android Central! What if you set the date back to now, then delete the messages, then set the date back to the future?

What happens when you try to delete? Does it give you an error message?

If you don't want to save any of your current texts, then go to Settings>Apps, select Messages, and clear its cache/data. Now see if those messages are gone.

You do realize, don't you, that we don't actually "resolve" any issues? We're not Google, we're not your carrier, we're not Samsung. Depending on the messaging app you're using, it would have to be Samsung, Google or whoever was the developer of the app, who has to "resolve" it.
