Why i cant see my friends story on messenger

I can't see of it don't show my friends day post on messenger everyone else day shows but not hers

I also encountered the same problem recently and I was being paranoid and been overthinking that maybe that person hide his/her 'My Day' to me.

However, I just discovered that by means of going to that person's profile on facebook and clicking on their profile picture allows you to view their 'My Day'. -Just sayin'
