Why I can't unlock items from my clipboard?

[Android Central Question]

I locked two big sentences and now I can't unlock them. I can remove everything else except those two. When I hold on them it has the option with faded letters and so can't tap it

Which keyboard? Usually long press gives option to unlock and then erase

Most phones can't hold more than a single "copy" at a time, so that's either a clipboard app, a Samsung (or possibly an LG - I think they might have come up with a clipboard manager). And what you do depends on which of those it is.
