To hold out just because I knew Asus would indeed sell them. They tweeted that they would be selling them. They have many colors. So 2the ones that didn't buy a case, will you be purchasing from Asus? (Didn't have price or release date)

I really dislike the Asus covers since the colors are bit too.. bright. I'll probably wait out for a better case down the line.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of cases. I'd much rather have a sleeve to provide protection while not in use. I'd imagine that enough of these will be sold to attract the attention of a variety of manufacturers to make all kinds of accessories for it.

I have a leather folio case that I'll be using. Got it at Office Max it was for another 7" tablet but it will work perfectly and I got it for $9.95 US.

They were closing them out.

I didnt buy the case because it wouldn't let me. It wanted me to sign up for email updates for when it was available. Of course this was last night too...

I want a case in burgandy or at least a decent red. Not a pastel and not military grey. I was tempted to order a Kindle style case, the leather ones that strap on, but I'm not to happy with them.

Luckily I somehow had a rare moment of wisdom. With the way these things are selling once these companies get their hands on a few test models we should see cases popping up everywhere. Hopefully someone will make the official style in better colors.

If anyone sees one please let me know.

I skipped the case because I didn't like it. I'm sure there will be more choices soon. Might buy straight from Asus when that becomes an option. And +1 on the burgundy case, that would be dope.

burgundy is my favorite color for a case. I love the original official Kindle case in burgundy.
