Why is android os draining the most battery after root

[AC Question]

I recently rooted my phone with kingroot and now my battery life has been awful, due to andoid os being at the top at about 30% , then screen below that. How do I fix this?

What device do you have? Are you on stock rom?

I rooted my Logic X1 with kingo root and my battery is excellent
