Why is com.sec.android.app.camera popping up in the middle of the night?

I check my activity daily, and I saw the camera app show up at 12:28am. I was asleep… my fiancé and I have a camera in the room and I watched it and saw myself asleep, my fiancé asleep, and my phone charging next to me. So why is that popping up?

Someone please help I’m freaking out about my phone being hacked into.

Welcome to Android Central! Google Activity shows when apps ping your Google account to refresh data. It doesn't correlate with when actively using it. It's normal behavior. Nothing to worry about.
