why is does the samsung fast charger not work when the battery is fully drained?

idk why but when I use my s7's fast charger that came in with the box it does not charge its only stuck on the grey drained battery icon it is weird.

I already fixed, but I still want to know why it happens, you all you need to do is to get/borrow another charger that is not a fast charger then swap it out when it has at least 1%

Mmm... not sure why that happens on yours, I've charged mine with the Fast Charger when it's completely depleted with no issues. I do believe Fast Charging doesn't 'kick in' unless the phone is turned on, but I might be mistaken.
