Why is every single thread turning into an invite request thread?

You know, some of us might actually want to discuss things without having every single thread get cluttered by people asking for invites.

There is an appropriate thread for requesting invites:

Please use it.

I, for one, am in at Google+, but I honestly don't want to invite anyone from here right now because every single thread is turning into an invite request thread.
