why is it at zero still?

my phone died late last night early this morning. my lg g3 phone been plugged in all day and still at zero

You need to systematically check the whole setup. Does power outlet work? Does charger work? Is battery loose in case (not sure if it's removable in your handset). Another charger? Work your way down the chain....
