Why is it blurry?

So I take a screenshot and it's great but then when I send it on Instagram or when I post it on my story on Snapchat it gets all blurry and it bothers me

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? When you view the screenshot in your gallery app, is it clear? When you attach it to a message, are you certain you're attaching the full image, or is it possible you're selecting the thumbnail instead?
