Why is Kies not getting connected after KitKat upgrade?

Hi,

I just recently upgraded my Galaxy Y GT-S5360 to (Cyanogenmod 11) KitKat after taking backups of contacts, memo, etc. via Kies, but now when I am trying to connect the device to Kies it is taking much longer time and always asks "Unable to connect, please reboot the device to try again?"

Any solutions for this.
