Why is m Nexus 4 slow and taking few seconds to respond to phone calls?

My Nexus 4 is slow and taking few seconds to respond to phone calls

I am using Google Nexus 4 since 2012 and updated to lollipop 5.0.1, I feel the phone is little bit slow and taking few seconds to respond. for example when i try to make a phone call and when the contact is touched, it is taking few seconds to show the dailing information. And over all the the phone seems slow.

How can I over come these problems.

Have you tried wiping the cache partition since updating to Android Lollipop?

I used to clear the cache regularly.
If I touch any contact for making a call, after few seconds the dialing screen comes up.
Also while taking a photo, I have to stay stable for few seconds. otherwise the picture comes blur.
Can any body suggest a solution for this.
