Why is mobile data not working?

Just trying to use mobile data and is not working.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which carrier? Is mobile data turned on? Do you have mobile data included in your carrier's plan? Did you get the phone from the carrier, or is it an unlocked phone you got from somewhere else?
