On my phone only about 1/5 of the music I have are shown in my Music folder when I view them via USB on my computer. And most of the other folders on both the SD Card and the phone itself have folders that say it has 0 files while on the computer, but on the Phone's file manager it CLEARLY has files. On my computer, the only folders shown in SD Card~DCIM is "100LGDSC" and Music. While, on the Phone's File Manager, the folders shown there are "Camera", "Music", and 100LGDSC. So, my Camera folder is not shown at all. How do I get the files/folders to show up while USB Connected on my computer?

My phone is Alcatel OneTouch (Virgin Mobile)

This happened to me on my Nexus 6.

I could only find two different work arounds.

1. I added and then deleted a file using the phones file manager. When I plugged in the phone again more files were showing however not all of them.

2. I made a copy of the whole music folder and then deleted the original using file manager. This worked as all the files were showing however I appreciate it's not an ideal solution.
