Why is my Ainol tablet keeps freezing at the Android startup screen?

[Android Central Question]

When I turn on my Ainol Q88, a tablet made in China with Android Oreo put in, the startup screen was shown. But after it was shown, these screens never go past the animation. The tablet froze at the Android startup screen indefinitely, as hard reset and safe mode doesn't exist on the device. I can't do safe mode in the tablet, and after 20 seconds, I can't see safe mode on the screen. When I do a hard reset, I reset all the data and the cache, and the startup screen also freezes indefinitely.

You cant get into safe mode?

A bad battery? Corrupt firmware? A hardware problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Like belodion, I'd suspect a hardware or firmware defect, which is much more common with these no-name or off-brand devices. Do yourself a favor and avoid these in the future -- stick with better-known and more reliable manufacturers like Samsung and Lenovo (for tablets, that is).
