why is my android connecting to the public wifi but log in page dont appear

i have an HTC Desire 626 and i have a wifi connection at my work and the phone shows connection however the log in page dont show up, so i dont have internet access.

This would sometimes happen to me with public domains like these. Have you spoken to your workplace about this? Does anyone else have any problems logging in? Try disconnecting from the Wi-Fi and then see if it shows up in you list of possible connections. Then reconnect. Sometimes these public Wi-Fi networks can be tricky. I know I've sometimes had trouble logging in/getting pages to load. Good luck!

I have the same problem with a Samsung TAB S2. My ASUS ZenPhone 2 goes directly to the wifi login page but not my TAB S2. Therefore on the Samsung, I am connected but canèt access the Internet. Anyone with the same problem??
