Why is my Android Setup Wizard repeating itself?

[AC Question]

I hard reset my Coolpad Rogue and am trying to get through the setup wizard. It goes ok until it gets to Connect to Wifi. After I connect to my wifi, it goes on to searching for software updates, and then skips back to Connect to Wifi. Because of this, I can't set anything up on my phone because it does it every time. I tried restarting, even factory resetting it again, and it still happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried other wi-fi networks?

Try a different wifi connection and wipe system cache even tho you just do a FDR.

Actually, I cant connect to any other Wifi Network.

Does it seem to accept your Google account and password without difficulty? If not, make sure you have 2-step authentication turned off for your Google account temporarily, then try again.

It doesn't reach the Google Account Setup because it keeps repeating, but before I hard reset it I could sign in without difficulty.

I'd suspect either a corrupt firmware or some kind of hardware failure. Sorry, but I'm not sure what else you can do about it. Is it still under warranty?
