Why is battery draining really fast

Just installed Android Lollipop update to Samsung S5. I can watch the battery drain! Started at 100% at 8:00 am and 3 hours later, after a few phone calls, WiFi off, not data usage, had 30% 3 hours later. Called Verizon, they don't have an answer. Did a had reset of phone and it still drains.

Any help?

Jrobah - Battery is currently at 100%. I added the GSAMBATTERY app. I will send screen shot later to show results.

Hi My phone is doing the same thing after an update. Verizon thinks it is the phone ( new Galaxy 5s bought Dec 2014), but I think it is due to an update since all of this started post an update. Several of my friends have the same issue

I am also the victim of this i bought my S5 last week it came with Android 4.4 i was so foolish to atleast do a research about lollipop before setting up the phone, i barely used the phone a couple of hours in kitkat and as soon as the software download was completed i was with lollipop and loving it but after a use of 1 week i am hating it and banging my head.
i've tried wiping cache thingy, factory resetting but nothing worked phone is still heating up and draining battery with a minimal use i am getting around 18-20 hours of battery time i repeat minimal use no whatsapping, viber, fb, music nothing just like a dummy phone using for calls and some whatsapp messages. i've even uninstalled all games third party apps.
Please help me out in this what to do now.:''''(
